  • Student animation using VRay Free.

My girlfriend was taking a 3DSMax class in school this semester. The end product requirement was a 15 second animation (not much, I know, but this was a beginner class). I'd like to share her result... she chose to use VRay free. The contrast is a bit off because at the last minute it was rendered on my farm (Vray Advanced) and so the results are slightly different than what she originally was working with. Still, I think it's pretty impressive for a beginner, low-intensity course:

Oh, and with irrmap, the rendertime was about 8min/frame.

Gotta agree! nice job for a beginner! Esp the shitload of animation squeezed into 15 secs. some nice Rubemachine ideas, and i dig the fact that it loops.

Congrats! (i assume she passed the test???)

            Yep, H264

You will need atleast quicktime 7 to view it.
