    Shading of the floor: Me
    Animation: Chris Godzik
    Compositing: Erik Bochmann

    Here's the full commercial:

WOW!!! You guys rock!!! Very nice animation.

BUT: are you sure that the licence plate is nailed onto the car that way? It looks very bended (oder eher geknickt).

          Hi,

I wasn't involved in the light effect, but as far as I know Markus rendered a lot of masks and light layers etc and the effect was done in shake.

          Best Regards,

Very nice Dieter, especially the warm colours on the floor that gently reflect in the lower panels of the car. Great job!

                        nice one dieter and team!
The material on the car does look a little dull but the overall impact is spot on!

                              Hi,

the car model is converted from the CATIA files. You couldn't model as exact as this in a production period. I think some parts in car lights were remodeled.
Automotice clients want exact renderings of their cars. There's even an increasing demand for measuring the exact car paint. Sphreron has a service (5000 Dollar for each paint) where you can measure the carpaint. You then get a mental ray shader with almost no parameters.
We asked Spheron if they are interested in porting the shader to VRay but they are not interested. But I expect that measured BRDFs are coming. It's a marketing thing.

                              Best Regards,

                              Dieter
