  • Welcome Center - WIP

Here is a current wip. I need to fix the tiling on the shingles and driveway. Other than that I am pleased with it so far. Sorry for the watermarks but with all that's happened recently it’s better to be safe than sorry! Thanks gadzooks

    P.S. Please CC.

Really excellent. The only issue I see is the roof tiling is maybe too repetitive and the cars a bit off. Are they RPC cars? Maybe try a real 3d car...

      Hi Gadzooks

I think they are some of the best exteriors I've ever seen. I particularly like the fact that it's a cloudy day and not drenched in sunlight, under an impossibly blue sky. The colours look very natural to me.

Same crits as Clifton really, I was going to ask if the people and cars are RPC as well. Also the reflections off the windows in the first pic look a bit strong to me, glass isn't very reflective when viewed face on. Has the glass material got fresnel checked?

      Really, really good work though,

        That's really nice..
I do see a little bit of tiling on the roof, but as mentionned by DanielBrew, looks very natural, looks great..

          they are truely great renderings.

I think your composition is just spot on - camera match, soft natural lighting.
Again, only crits are the reflections in the windows are quite strong and don't appear to be of the environment the building sits in.

I'd really like to know what elements are CG - how did you do the grass? Is it part of the photo and just very well comped?

If it is i think you were quite clever in picking the angles for the photo. If it isn't - please for god's sake share those settings!

Thanks Guys! The reflections on the glass need some work, thanks for pointing that out. The cars and people are lowpoly 3d. They look awesome at full res but downsizing the image to post them loose some detail. The grass is an extremely large grass texture purchased from Turbo Squid. Lighting pretty straight forward the background image dictated the light setup. Vray light dome with area shadows IR map with light cache. Will post corrected images once complete. Thanks.

                        outstanding!

                        they feel really natural.

once you fix the reflections and the tiling issues on the roof and gravel they're perfect.

                        nice work.

                          hi
                          very nice images.
maybe u can add some glossy on some materials that are in near plane.
