    Recently project completed
    Simplified since it was for city council approval
    Problems with the cars but that will be fixed.
    No anim on the boats, not enough time main focus
    is the building and proposed additions/alterations to the roads.

    1.47 LWF pretty cut and dry
    Diffuse glow added in post.

    its really nice,

    only two small thinks for me: roof of the tower, and maybe a little fog in horizont.
    i really like the camera movement!

    how long did you worked on that?

      Im afraid the horizon did get overlooked, didnt even think about it
      too busy dealing with tech rabbits (chasing them around)

      I cant be specific with the time frame but it went smoothly and quickly
      compared to pre-vray projects (with the exceptions of the technical issues
      I was posting here about). I suppose I could say handling the scene itself
      was short but making the building took a bit of work the rest was pretty
      straight forward. There were different people that handled different parts.
      I mainly directed (though we all did it together), trouble shooting and technical direction
      2 primaries and 2 secondary people did the modeling and scene setup.

      I set up the camera in the inital phases for a mockup for the customer
      then one of the primaries smoothed out the timing for the final.

      The roof was actually a big deal to them as another development in that
      are had issues with red colors and metallic properties to we based it
      on their reference to keep it from being too flashy.

      We had worked briefly on some animated boats but that is put off until
      the sales phase as this was only for city approval. "Only" I say as they
      needed more attention on the specifics of the impact of the building and
      the roadway changes. All the bells, whistles and pretty stuff come next.

        Very nice. The sparkly water looks great although I would have been tempted to make it a little more blue/turquoise.

        Love those birds as well - can you tell us how they were done?

          The water in that area is deep so not a alot of blue green there (,matched
          to site photos)
          The birds are a particle cloud with with alot of blur added in post
          Just "special" type with rotation to make them tumble as they go by.

              Pretty damn nice mate!!

              Only minor thing for me is the car speeds, they dont look right.. way to slow... and some of them are hardly moving. But again that is rather minor.

                yeah we were having a hastle with the cars at the last minute
                but they will be corrected for the next phase, that is if they get the
                approval
