Just a few questions from a newb...

      Really looks good...I mean it!

One question: what types of lights did you use for the table lamps?

And HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT CREATING A BACKGROUND IN THE WINDOWS??!!??!?

They look good... but I think they are a little too grey. What if you turn up the multiplier on your colormapping? Or brighten you wall/cieling material? (anyway its just my opinion)

          hi skogskalle,

Yes you are right, i´ve turned down the colormapping option to about 40 to 50 %.

I often feel, that colrbleeding in vray is a bit to strong.. but thats for sure, my opinion.. .

Well what i would like, as i allready told, is an opinion in the vray material, to override the global colorbleeding.

this in some other renderers is a bit more flexible.

But you know , using some of them, i still would sit and wait... .

The lights are simple spotlights with vray shadows. nothing interisting..

only the lamp on the left has a surface on the bottom also with some selfilu material..

the backround.. well i created a script for the specular calculus of the sss behaviour of the outer plants and grass, and recreated...... lol... no of course kidding.. its just a backroundimage positioned inside the alpha..

          for the color and lightbalance...

i think this is very much dependend on what you personay like.

as i know from my lessons in "lightplaning-architecture", it seems that in cold regions of the earth, people use to like strong hot spotlights, cause the shadows remember them for the sun, which gives a feeling of warm summersun.

in very hot regions of the earth, people seem to prever very diffus light. this gives the feeling of a clouded sky. so there are always psychological factors in this immage.

ah yes... and here in Hamburg, its rather often cold...
