I agree with jacksc02, a very easy way to work round that edge is using the uvw xform, just select the edge faces and add the uvww xform modifier, then rotate your map 90degrees. perhaps try and soften up the reflection on the floor and adding some more bump to it.

Your paper is cutting into the paper beneath it on the left side. That same piece also looks too thick.
The underside of the table looks wrong. I would expect the underside of a painted table to be the least worn since no sunlight hits it and it's not being worn down by use. Perhaps you show the paint chipping away at the edges and not in the center.
There's something in the corner that's difficult to recognize. It looks like a curtain resting on a white box.
