Hello everyone. We desided to replicate a photo. Not entirely, but a close match as we had only one photographic reference. All credit goes to my coworker Alex yet again. Time spent, appx 4 hours from start to finish.
Take your picks, which one you think is a photo?
    Enjoy!

    very very nice
clean gi precise and realistic shadows nice materials
only one thing but not a critique in the reference photo the light seems fall faster respect the simulation (look the table's legs seems become more darker respect the simulation)

      awesome yet again.
if i have to scroll up and down 20 times and still am not sure then it doesn't really matter which is which
i'll go with the top image as the photo...somethin is fishy about the flower on bottom

My vote - Bottom image CG

I'm going with the bottom image being CG. The shadows look more too soft on the this image and there reflection on the table top in the first image looks more realistic ? ( whatever that means ?) I also think the more screwed up flower is most likely to be real.
I had to load the two of them into the Ram Player in max and slide 80 times to come to my conclusion - amazing realism.

Nice images both. Top is photo. Look at wall paper definition. Also another clue seems to be the baseboard on the top image...where's the knots and burls in the lower image?...nice anyways!

I would say top one rendering, cause there is more detail than in the second one, and you want to fool us.......
But really, I can not say

I'll guess the bottom one but only because of what lloks t be a small uneven gap between the floor boards and the baseboard. Either way it's really nice.
