It was a royal pain. Started out with a plane, added a bend to get it rolled diagonally. Then I flattened the ends by using vertex soft selection and scale down the z axis. Then bent each end 180 moving and scaling the gizmo. Isn't very nice but I have it rotated and positioned so you can't see the scragely details. Also added noise to rough it up a little. (same with the paper bag and pretzels) Only reason to model this way really was for mapping, could easily distort a primative and get a good shape but texturing would be a nightmare, here I mapped the plane before ever bending it. BTW your beer looks better than my lunch!
