I think what makes the picture so real are the plants and the pavement. Nobody expect so much detail in 3d renderings and everyone know that you do a lot with textures. So, displacement really rocks in that picture!
But, there is one think that looks strange. The stones beside the street all lay down like someone placed them just for the picture. In reality they would look like build into that place and diged down below the street.
Don't know your reference, but what came to my mind first time looking on the picture.
I like the images quite a bit but the only thing I think that detracts from them for me is the fact that most of the edges are still very straigth even though your texture maps indicate a high level of decay. I think if you broke the edges up on the pillar at the front gate and the corners of the house it would help a lot.
