    Hi

Was hoping for some feedback on this image, i've just had to revisit the scene after some months away and so this is no rendered with 1.5. straight out of max at the moment, no PS work at all

    Thanks in advance

Except for the extreme angle it looks good for straight out of max. Glass looks really good. Was it done in post? Straight out of max implies it wasn't so can you share?

        nice image...

and nice design...at least its different (looks more like a classroom though!). I think the only part that freaks out if the glass corner window as i think chapels traditionally have more symmetry. didnt really like the fact that their is a ceiling inside either...but, this wasnt a design crit was it? lol

In terms of the trees... when they are that close i think you realy need some higher quality ones. We mostly use onyxtree but i think you can do even better than that...if you have the $!

thanks for the comments guys. the design is different but in a good way. the lower floor are lecture rooms and the upper floor is the chapel. the inside is pretty cool with a pin-wheel grid on the walls, with an highly reflective ceiling - the idea being that the light streaming through the slit at the front, forms a cross on the inside surfaces.

the glass is just std settings for glass, black in the diff, white in reflect and refrec, fresnel checked, IOR 1.6, there is a lot of environment behind the cam for it to reflect, which i think is the key

          thanks
