Great Job! Definetly one of the best Interior Renders I've seen. Thanks for the break down on the volume light.

                wonderful,
not much else to say only I agree with the smoothing on the brickwork for the centre arch- looks a little odd,

apart from that, its as good as you'll see anywhere,

                        Image of the year!!!

The black parts under the stairs and at the ceiling are looking strange - so extrem black - an eye catcher.

What was the rendertime at which machine?

The render time was 19 1/2 hours at 2250 x 3000 on a dual xeon 3.6 ghz, 3 gig ram, xp 64 bit. I had to go pretty hi-res on the floor 2d displacement to get the crisp dark joints. In addition to that, I used fairly high subdivisions on the glossy settings. The brick wall had a bump map, so that rendered pretty fast. The buckets crawled over the couch and floor.

Why did you use IM and detail enhancement. This option is not available at Rhino, so I'm curious, for what it is good and for what not.

                                Search the forum, Micha.
There's a post from Vlado himself detailing the usage of the option, as well as a link to his siggraph demo video which shows the differences with AO.
