  • Chinese Garden - Update

I was asked to do another view of the garden I posted previously.
Thanks to someone on another thread, I've added a soft border to the image to add to the watercolour effect.

    nice stamp you got there
other then that i think a bit more contrast and less saturation would be better.

Well, how about that!? Two publications in a week. First the NORD images going up in a couple of mags (see other thread), and now my chinese garden image is in the Glasgow Herald.
Needless to say, my clients haven't insisted on having my name credited on either publication.

Thanks for the crits... contrast/saturation is something I still find hard to nail, especially on the lappie I'm working from at the moment

Nice one Patrick, congrats on the publications.
I was going to ask, was this for chelsea but the link answered that!!
Do you know if they are displaying the images/animation at the show?
I should be going there this year so i'll look out for it.

Nice Rendering. Good use of the watercolour filter.

                  ok here's the un-watercoloured version.

                  and the ground texturemap.

and a 100% crop (the map is 8000px tall... think I went a bit over the top )
