This is my latest rendering (science lab interior). Any crits or comments welcomed.

looks good, but what are those hot spots on the floor coming from? Are there some lights out of view or something?

maybe add door hardware and metal deck above the steel...looks like nice clean modeling. good job!

Hi Voltron7,

Thanks for the comments. The hot spots on the floor are the Vray sun comming through the row of windows at the top left. You only see three in the view but there are more.

Doh! Now I get it, sorry.
I like the casework, too and it's good that you included subtle things like the fire sprinklers/pipes and ductwork.

very nice job. Regarding the white spots on the floor. I think your sun area shadows are too blurry. Also just a tad of volumetrics streaming from the windows to the floor would be a nice touch.

Looking again....I think your air ducts look a bit too much like plastic.....I imagine that it should have more of a metal/allum. feel?
