well, it looks great, but if you want me to start knit picking, that painting reflection on the mirror is a bit distracting, the rest just fantastic.

nice....but if that mirror is the front of a medicine closet behind it and the mirror swings open, it will never clear the faucets...and i would second the mirror opinion.

I'll dump the picture in the background and scale the mirror up a bit to clear the taps. What do you guys think of a frosted pattern on the shower door?

imho if you put frosted pattern can add richness into the scene. might work just fine

great work! Please turn on some area shadows though. the shadow from the toilet paper roll in particular is too sharp. It harshens the image.

              yeah - really lovely image
but to me the floor looks a bit too shiny on the edges of the tiles - like they're metallic
could you get a little reflection on the shower door ?- change the reflection value or fresnel so it shows a little of the room and/or give the glass some bump
um, clutching at straws now - the rose petals are a bit too even!

                    Love the floor!!

My main crit is the really blown out toilet.
oh and the stiff toilet paper

                      hi
                      I agree with daforce.
and the seramics material bump size and multiplier is big. u can make it less.

I would recommend some Reinhard burn to reduce the blown-out hotspots.

I´m going to render it tonight and post it tomorrow. I´m going to have to check the tiles....i didnñt like that shimmer that shows up either....just not sure if its the bump or the displacement.

                          Thanks again for the help.

Well....i rendered it last night and it was way more burned out then before. I think i'll have to read up on the Reinhard settings. Anyone have any suggestions based on my image above. I'll post it later if you guys want to see it. going to go and search for Reinhard posts for a bit.

With Reinhard at its default values 1.0/1.0 its basically linear color mapping. So you want to lower the burn value, which is some what like blending linear and exponential. It will help reduce your blow out areas.
