    Thanks Da_elf

Seeing posted now makes me think that tree has to go.
    Thanks for pointing that out.

      Tree

Nice tree You are getting that white border around everything. I think that is caused by the color mapping settings. I think you need to un-check what isn't default.

Thanks glorybound ...and what a process to download the free sample, eh?
The white border you mentioned...I only see it around that foreground tree.
It is not present in my .exr from the VFB.
I think it was an issue with my layers in post...
As for color mapping, the only thing checked, is affect background, which I think is default...

        Thanks again,
        JR

did you set the blur in the bitmap for the leaves to 0.001 or 0.01 or whatever the minimum is for blur....

the other thing i like to do is to take my leaf texture into photoshop and extend the green from the edge of the leaf

Here is the image from the VFB, only change was going from exr to jpg. No white border is there...

Da_elf: The leaves are not texture mapped, just a diffuse color with some small amount of reflectivity/gloss. I wish I had used a texture map, now, and I will try out your method of extending the green. thanks I think it got the border in photoslop hastiness during selection...

            thanks, JR

really nice work except i think the foreground tree and quality of the other 3D tree's bugs me a bit.

I've got the same problem with trees and generally do what you did in one of the versions by overlaying a 2D cutout on top of the foreground leaves.

I havnt tried this myself yet but tree 1 and tree 15 from evermotion library "archmodels vol 31" may be good candidates for foreground trees

everything else looks very nice, i'm just posting because i've got a similar problem with trees and would like to see if anyone else has some suggestions

@paulison: Thanks, and yeah, the trees were not my fav part
I do have that evermotion v31 and have lately been trying to work a couple into my project. So far, so good. Hopefully I'll post a result.
                  Best regards, JR
