      The wood timbers in the second one are most impressive. The brick and stone needs displacement. Check out the leather tutorial at www.evermotion.org which is what I used for the chairs in my loft rendering http://www.chaosgroup.com/forum/phpB...953&highlight=

        I have displacement use on brick & stone in second render, probably was not so high in thickness, just 1.5 cm...
        everything is better visible in high res... I know all about leather tutorial on evermotion site so bump is maybe to low in my case but it depend on light source...

          for the first image u wrote u used domelight with vraysky mapped but did u used for it store to irrad map? because no noise I can see and even with high subdivision it produces noise

            On the first image dome light was used with subdivs of 20 and unticked store with IM
            skylight portal unticked too
