  • COTTAGE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR

    hello friends,

these are the latest project i did,
    hope you like it.

as you can see, not much accessories i can throw in, because the
    client doesn't really fancy accessories.

and i know nothing much happening at the exterior rendering because the
building itself is very much straight forward in design. but i like the
    coconut trees.

and THANKS TO ALEXTHG... cheers bro!

Wow, nice resort, mate! Maldives ?

Really love the interiors... only one thing disturbs me : the background and the background reflections on the glass doors... Frankly I don't know what's going on there, but it doesn't quite 'fit' in.. sorry, I can't be more clear than that.

A perspective correction would help in the first interior.

What happened to your thatched roof btw?

    Cheers!

there is a layer of stretch sheer on the first image behind the glass doors.... so, it;s gonna be like that.

                  BRAVO , Dom...
I like it a lot, especially the design... really COSY...
                  Lighting is great.

BTW, do you have a version with WHITE woods. IMO, it may fit better, as
                  it is a sea type.
Can you please re-render the 1st pic with it.

                  Crti:
You need a better texture for the floor woods.

                  Best regards,
                  nikki Candelero

Looks great! Same crit as nikki: your wood flooring/planks look a bit wrong. Maybe try multiple related wood maps to provide variation, and lighter/more worn wood. The wood frames around the doors look excellent though.

What is in the tub in the first image? Looks like oysters. Is that a giant cooking pot?

What are your palm trees from?

Visumporec: thank you for the compliment

Nikki : Thanks, when you said you want me to render in white wood, is it the whole wooden surface or only the floor planks? i'll get to it

pixelab: yes those palms. i am liking it too, need to enhance the trunk though :P

clifton: thanks, i will do your suggestion as nikki said. in the tub at the first image, was supposedly to be rose petals, but i guess they don't deliver the message. maybe i enhance that ones too.

those coconut trees are from onyx, map it myself, fiuhhhhhh lots of falloff maps inside falloff and gradient inside that falloff map inside that falloff maps. and all these maps i applied colorcorret in every bitmaps inside those gradient maps inside those falloff maps (confused myself somewhere here now) hehe :P. and ofcoz glossy reflections. took me 2 hrs for 1800 res width for the third image, using x2 4400.

Very nice images. In the first one I like the highlights on the piping under the sink and on the brass(?) holders for the face towls. Cool bath too. The wood flooring texture does look a bit odd. Second image I think the timber decking in the foreground looks stretched, and the reflections in the glass could be knocked back just a touch, they stand out too much. The last image is spot on, wicked trees and the roof is sweet. I wish i worked on jobs like yours. English residential stuff is pretty boring and lifeless sometimes!
