Looks great, the tiling to the wall needs sorted as mentioned.

I have also started sketching over photographs/images in the early stages to get an idea of what I want the final image to look like - its quite a refreshing way to get into the image before exacting everything.

What are you creating the trees and plants with ?

A combo of xfrog, onyx and ivy this days... that ivy thing is really mad! i wish this app will evolve to be more versatile and flexible. creating a bougainvillea type plant that i needed here to some time to get it right.

        cheers

looking good but i think a bit too evenly lit which is typical of LWF when people are struggling with the setup (IMHO!!!) - a lot seem to lack a bit of contrast (your final is close though).

I think it fits into the photo nicely though, great work!

well, it is a first LWF image for me in production.

here are some more tests, same camera - different sun positions.

i have some sampling issues in the shaded areas of the images... but i didn't work too much on the settings either.

Did you set color mapping to gamma 2.2 and turn on "Don't affect colors" ? Cause sampling issues in shaded places in LWF usually come from the discrepancy between sampling in sRGB and color-values in linear space.

                Regards,
                Thorsten
