WHen I was intially helping him with the caustics he had the vraysun as part of a daylight system, and the photon emit radius doesnt seem to work in that situation.. Vlado???
So i had it setup with a direct light for caustics.

Caustics will always work... just you wont be able to control where the photons are shot if you have the vraysun as part of the daylight system. As in the caustics wont be as accurate but they will still work. But having the sun by itself your able to focus the caustics better.

The third image is realy nice. I don't think I have ever seen that camera angle of half in half out of the water. Great images and two points for the original camera angle!

                  yep, just tested this myself.
caustics do work with the sun in a daylight system, but you can't see or control the photon emit radius.

                        Congrats, great renders ...

                        A quick question:

Is your camera - water proof ?
And if yes, where can all we get one ?

                        Best regards,
                        nikki Candelero

I have to ask, how complicated is the terracotta tile material? How many maps did you use, what kind of maps, how..?

Of course my camera is water proof, but despite that you need to have water mask, breathing devices, fins...
knowing that it took me 2 hours to get the right angle under water

You can find water proof camera in any better supplied store, but the skills are not for sale.
Thanks Candelero I really appreciate your opinions and ideas
