  • Carling C2 commercial

Finaly I decided to post it (for those who know)
Job realised by and property of Thinktankstudios.
My Job on this was to model the bar then make a lighting rig which reach the real shoot to better match it.
Take the bots already modeled by some artist all around the world and convert all mtl in Vray, settup the render correctly to have a good lighting and settup the matte.
rendertime between 4 and 6h/frame QMC/LC for all in HD
I have worked around one month on it

thx to: Ene, Lele, jacks02, and others from this great forum......
    for their help

great work - i have seen this on tv and wondered if it was the v.

i'm always interested in know this: what were your settings for the LightCache? I'm trying to find an optimal setting for moving animations, i usually go for about 2-3000 subdivs, pre filter on about 500, and interpolation samples on about 50 - works on, but you can see some flickering sometimes - what's your secret here - you wouldn't have been able to cache it right?

                    looks good; but hate carling!

hey that turned out pretty damn good.
See you got your matte issues sorted out.

Did you use LC/QMC or QMC/LC ? what was first bounce?

no secrets here and nothing special.
Here a screen where you can see the setting, all the vray light subd 24, render at 1510/1133.
