  • Our latest...everyone loves Hawaii!!

Many roadblocks for this project(kukui'ula) were solved right here in these forums, so we thought it only right to share the fruits of our labor.

Wow man, really really great job.
the detail, lighting and materials are amazing.
I like the second image best, that furniture is looking so real.

If I look real close and have to say something, its the sharp transition from CG to background picture? that and the faceted step by the water in the last picture.

    top notch!

            Some nice stuff there.

There's a problem with the horizon line int he second image though... It looks far too high to match the perspective in the room.

Nice work! They have a great atmospheric quality to them.

I like the 2nd one the best, but there is an odd perspective issue going on that makes the people look tiny and the plant on the left that's on the table look like it's a massive plant. I know it's because it's close to the camera, but that angle makes the plant look out of proportion and the table that it's sitting on kind of looks like it's sitting on the wood floor. Maybe you can adjust the camera position some or add in some depth of field so that the foreground is more blurry, which should help define the space more and make the room really convey it's size.

Nice renders, about the scale, IMO the peoples are in some case wrong scaled, which disturb a lot, a little tips to right scale the people:
make a box with the correct hight where you want the people then make a screen cap and paste it in PS then you'll have the right scale. If this can help...
