So....Here is the prelim images for my latest job. Comments and crits of course welcome...I havent decided on a sky as of yet....But let me know what I need to tweak Vray Sun/Sky Vray Camera - 100 iso, 30 SS, and f-8

-3/-1 IR and LC - Exponential mapping....and mostly standar settings around. Also....you will see in two of the images that it seems to be doing som weird things with the wood maps?? Any suggestions?

Hmmm I got them from TurboSquid...But then I converted the maps to vray mats and it was fine....But I am not sure that is what did it....

        Mapping

You look a little washed out in parts. Have you tried the Reinhard, maybe at .5?

          good lighting Eric!
Overexposed, it's strange with exponential... and some problem on you meshes, flipped or double face.
          but good contrast.
          Please repost the last.
PS: try the exposimeter by ^Lele^ the little devil , it work like a charm in this kind of situation, put vray cam, a sky, expose and play
I think you can rid of these overexposed areas with it, in near one click.
          =:-/

Thanx....Is the last image not showing up for ya??

Exposimeter huh...Yeah...Like I am going to trust a guy with less than 50 posts. Downloaded and tried...Does it only use the settings when you hit expose or do the settings transfer to when I just hit render?? Script looks awesome....

Yeah your contrast is out of whack. YOur darks are too dark and your brights are too bight.

I PS'd 2 of them quickly to show you just abit more how they should look.
As for your wood, I would bet its double faces.

Yeah you should be able to fix that just fine in vray. Just a matter of tweaking your color mapping settings abit I would think. Or adopting gamma 2.2 for the render that might well help too. But its abit late into the project to change over now I would think.

Zoo hey, geez havnt been to a zoo in years.
Going to see some relatives are you

All I really did was change the dark and bright multipliers in the Color mapping section. Thanx...Still need to add tons of LIFE to the scene and perhaps adjust a bikini or two.

Well done mate, thats looking LOTS better.

Your IR map settings are a little od tho, you have min and max both at -3, you could get more detail out if it were say -3 / -1

Hi there...Got those from Beldin Pavers. You can download the program and make just about anything they sell as a texture. Then I just Ps'd a bump texture and used it too.
