  • Bar Interior - Final

Hi guys, first of all thanks to everyone who helped me out and gave me comments on this image... This is the final rendering we made, biggest change is in the ceiling were we painted it dark metallic and behind that put a "stars" material. Please let me know what you think!

I like the ceiling and love the bar. The 3d people ruin it for me, mostly the 2 blokes and seated female dead centre. I would have PS'd the lot.

Great render. However as said above those 3d people in the center are not real enough to be shown that close.

With abit of texturing work they could be quite good, and the poses need a little work.
      Apart from that really nice

looks great voxel. i dont think the people are that bad. i'd much rather see 3d people than the really popular crap people (RPC)

I think if you photoshopped people in on this kind of image that they would more than likely stand out like dogs balls (sorry thats my fav expression these days)

very nice atmosphere. I think maybe the flooring looks a bit too perfect though?. overall its very nice though IMHO

Haha, well i think well PS'd photo-cutouts of people would look 'the mutts nutts' and a million times better than 3d people. Yes, exactly one million times better!

I think I like the small version better.
The clearer the image the more detail you need to put in, people are really near the viewer, and they are a rough crowd
It is really tough to show a bar interior, especially with the smoking ban /for those in the UK /

Thanks everyone for your comments... I know that 3D people aren't as good for high-res work, especially if they get very close to camera, but we're doing this job primarily for animation so it won't be as noticeable there, IMO.
