  • End of stone houses!?

I think that is the end of stone houses vizualisation ...
I am a little bit tired of macking this 14 stone houses in 2 months, each separately with lot of detail, 80 pictures in hi-res...
All pictures in LWF, some with dome light, some with Lele script (thanks Lele on more time ), vray: dof, sky, sun and camera...
Thats was a really hard work in short period of time and now i am going to enjoy my vacation in Adriatic sea... (300 meters from my office... )

    Best regards,
    Alex

Wow. A vacation well deserved! Nice work. Is the stone bumped map or displaced?

          Great!

Lovely images, congratulations. A little bit saturated for my taste, but great anyway.

The caustics on the pool are just superb. Were they done in postproduction?

          Greetings again!

I like the slight DOF effect on the 3rd image. looks sweet.

                    Thanks guys for the comments...
It's very easy to reduce saturation but the client wants a bit more saturated images for the market purposes
                    Stone & brick = vray 3d displacement
Wood (round the pool) & grass = vray 2d displacement
Caustics done in vray with Daylight - vray sun, no post

Daforce, i've been little reduced the value of max photons from 250 to 40 and increased caustics subdivision in Daylight from 1500 to 3500...
I think caustics is more sharpen now

lowering the max photons isnt the best idea if you want max quality.

Increasing the subdivs certainly would be what made it sharper.. looks pretty good now

makes me want to go on holiday... do you use displacement on the roof tiles or are they modelled?
