  • Exterior - Water Utility Office

This is one of my latest projects, soon to be finished. I spent a little more time than usual with this one, learning more about VRay

I like it...the building looks very realistic but for sure I'd work a little more on the curb and the tree looks "CG" ...maybe a good cutout would work better there.

Yeah, we really need to build a better collection of quality trees. I was scouring our trees made with onyx for some good ones, but it is a bit like a lottery considering we have made hundreds, and just because they are new does not necessarily mean they are better

Here is another view of it:
      .

Using my new cloud and horizon here. Look at how to do it over at the Tutorials forum.

I have onyx too and yes, sometimes they look great....I'm also using some Vue trees...I think they look better than Onyx the most part of the time...the prices are affordable at Cornucopia (kind of Turbosquid for VUE). ...I like the evermotion collection, they look very good

I like the first one, the second rendering doesn't look as realistic as the first one......did you use a dome for the background? ... I'd try Adaptive QMC for AA to get more detail on the metal roof.

Small update...still waiting for the designer to pick a wall fixture. Still need to update the curb.

Nice and moody! I really like dusk shots, if it were mine I would add a bit of subtle sun glow from behind the building, but then its possibly too late in the evening to see any sun still?

i love the last one...... very dramatic!!!

only problem i see is the positioning of the lights lite from below..... looks like you would have some uplighting 1' away from the wall; somewhere in the sidewalk..... i assume the lighting will changed based on you are intending to you wall sconces instead of uplights....

Your roof looks great too! nice subtle detailing.

              nice work
