  • 250 million polygons worth of flowers

This image still needs a lot of work but I thought I would post. I have always appreciated Vray proxies but this this image has tought me a whole new level of respect for them. Try this in MR. 250 million polygons rendered with 1.5G of ram.

        Very nice image!

But is wrong what you said about MR. Take a look at images bellow. VUE + MR in max (25billion polys).

hehe, didn't mean to offend any of the MR users out there
Before 64-bit MAX, we used to have a ton of problems getting MR to render heavy scenes in max and have since moved away from it. This scene was rendered in Max 8 using only 1.5G of 4G of RAM.

Wow - impressive! What were your rendering times?

but the credits for this go mostly to vue, cause all the trees get rendered from the vuerendercore...

would love to see this integrated with v-ray...
