      Really beautiful work!

The ceiling material in shot 2 looks fantastic.

only slight criticism would be that the rug looks a bit obviously vrayfur'd.... if you know what i mean

Nice images! Do you mind talking about your setup at all?
What version, camera type, vraysun and sky, color mapping?
What were the render times like for these?
thanks, the curtains look great, too!
        Good job

very very nice mood and lighting, congrats.

my only critic, like peterguthrie said would be the way it turned out for the vray fur in the first image; second one is gorgeous though!

                              hi guys

thank you for your positive feedback.
here are some infos about the project:

                              - the floor-texture: a selfmade patchwork from a hundred of fotos i took.
                              the resolution is 6000x6000pix.

                              - the walls: is a texture/foto taken from an existing wall. i tried with bumps/normal but didn't succeed at that time, it gave strange splotches. should give it a try now on some other project.

                              - rendertimes: do not now anymore, but i think something around 3-4h for a 3500x2400 pic

                              - render-setting: pretty usual but some higher HSph subdivs: 80, int. samp. 40, min/max: -6 / 1, it could be lower of course.

                              - cam/light: RC3. only vraysun/-sky with vraycam. i always try to use realworld filmspeed (100/200/400/800/1600) and shutter-speed. ahhh: LWF was used here with Reinhard-Mapping (between 0.3-0.6)

                              - TV: @ jacksc02. it's a 106cm LCD and actually those ARE huge. ok there are bigger screens aswell but who can afford them?

                              - cushions: yeah not so satisfied with that. didn't want to invest more time on the scene.

                              thanks again for your words.
                              greetings
                              ale
