Good attention to detail at door and window frames, as well as threshholds.

                hi
what are the steps you take in photoshop?
do you render different passes too?

very very very clean render, and not surprised at how the materials turned out considering how much effort went into them....

                        hi there

                        thanks for your kind words!

giraffe: i just render out the RGB-element. i'm looking into rendering elements if there's the need for it, but at the moment the RGB is enough.
in photoshop i duplicate the original layer and set it to screen/neg. multiply with a blend-amount that differs from scene to scene.
a third layer (also neg. multiply) is used for the blooming effect. this layer has a high contrast. after that i play around with color-variations of the original layer which gives me the 4th layer right above the original one, but with a blending/transparancy-value of about 10-20%.
then all layers are flettened to one. again some levels/contrast adjustments are made but that's pretty much all of the PS-work.
of course BG, or other non-CG things, are added before adjusting colors/contrast ect.

                        regards
                        ale

                            hi giraffe

i'm using the german Photoshop and there is the blending option 'Negativ Multiplizieren'. i think it's the 'Screen'-mode in english.
                            hope this works for you.

                            regards
