while sweet, the carpet doesn't look comfy. it looks a little itchy.

I love it....agree with the carpet comment...and the couches come off looking a bit noisy. Its probably the texture but thought i would mention it. Great image though.

yes LWF is used here, as it is used on all of my scenes.
yeah agree, the carpet needs reworking.
the couch has a map on, which i took from the couch i own (falloff-map in diffuse with the appropriate textures, some bump and reflection).
there is only vraysun/sky/cam involved, no fancy tricks except some vray override mats (i.e. for the floor to prevent color bleeding).
the bamboo-sticks are selfmade, quite an easy thing. just searched the internet for some good reference-pics to model after and take the texture from.
