2 Duo shoots from our latest projects... please share your opinion on the "ghost" people solution. We like it better the real people... but client's hardly ever do.

Like the top images very much but loose the ghost people. Everything else in the image is photo realistic so those guys stand out way to much.
Maby add realistic people and fade them out in photoshop?
I feel the same about people. we try to avoid them as much as possible, and use suggestive ways when really needed.
but the bottom line is, clients want to see them from time to time and we really need to develop a process to achieve this at good quality. at first we thought 3d models will do the job - but thats good for background / far from camera placements. up close it is very noticeable that this people are not for real.
now it seems that a combination of 3d invisible shadow casters + post production is the only and more flexible way to do this - any thoughts about this.
