      Rivoli, well, it looks weird on the LCD's here in the office too. Sometimes I miss my old lowbudget crt, but than again, I don't miss the aching eyes...

      DaForce, I've used that old map to draw some curves in PS, just to have a natural looking scratch distribution as far as I can remember, but since the metal teapot is quite small even in the highres render, I guess it was just some wasted work on that. The old map itself was used as a diffuse map too.

              The rounding was done by modelling, imo the fastest way, since the model itself is quite simple.

              If someone interested, here (pot_subd.3ds) is the subd teapot used in this scene. It's always nice to have a subd ready teapot around.

                I thought it was nurbs bolean and then fillet
                I just can't seem to trust myself
