  • Messy office (WIP)

    Hi guys,

Here is an image im working on in my spare time. Ive modelled a fair bit so far, but there's a lot more to go. This is basically my office...and it will become more messy as time goes on..like the real thing

Hope you like it so far...crits and comments welcome.

(Also, thanks to the guys the helped me out with the LWF stuff, it has proved invaluable to my rendering, much more consistant results.)

Probably the tidiest messy office I have ever seen!

This is a WIP so it will get messier. Just need to model a lot more clutter.

that's looking a bit more untidy.

How about a few coffee stains on the desk and the papers? Perhaps a little stack of empty glasses and coffee cups?

Looking really great so far. Looking forward to the real dirt happening.

              Keep it up

This office isnt quite as messy as I would have liked as I wanted to get this project finished. I rendered out the final image, a dirt pass and a volumetric pass. Did some composition and adjustments in photoshop.

So this is the final image...hope you like it. Comments welcome

                Cheers

This is looking very good! You did quite a good job on the smaller details, I especially like the floor. If I try hard, only thing I can crit are the crumpled papers, just don't look as good and alive as the rest of the scene, especially near the bin.
And funny how the watermark doesn't really stand out from this mess.

                  best regards,

                  A.

Thanks...I think maybe because I wanted to move onto another project I may have skimped on some final modelling....will come back to it at some point to tidy things up (excuse the pun). Just need a break from this for now....

                    Any other crits welcome...

great job. I would add that the monitor screens seem a little lifeless and non photographic. Realistically, you would have a fair amount of glow when a photo is taken of it methinks.
