Cheers man. Does the saturation look ok to you ? ...I have a thread regarding my/cient monitor calibration issues and differences. On my screen I over saturated it to compensate...Im wondering if my monitor is wrong. I'll have to get one of those calibration tools that guy mentioned.

    Thanks for comments though..appreciated

Saturation looks ok to me on the last image but it generally does have a yellow cast to it. Not over the top yellow but definitely warmer than the first image in the thread which is generally pretty neutral.
      www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

It does look abit over saturated yes.
However to me it looks good, sort of arty. So i dont mind it too much
It is however just a tad to yellow for my tastes.

Like the others said in your other thread, the clients monitors are almost definitly bound to be WAY out of whack

Right, since I recalibrated my monitor and tweaked the lighting (a fair bit) and the meterials, i wanted to share this final final final image. I have added a little bit of DOF and also some specular glow in various areas. I prefer this image to the yellowish version.

          Thanks

            Much better. Really nice details.

However.. hehe .. I dont really like the DOF, and it seems your room is falling over onto the road

Nice! Dof was a good addition too. I've just noticed, the world outside the window is not the same like we see on the monitor. I feel that the perspective of the road (or of what is there, I cant tell from this resolution) on the monitor's picture is better than what you've used on the final rendering.

              best regards,

              A.

Its strange, I actually went out, measured the road and set it at pretty much the correct measurements and height from the window etc, but yeah it does look strange as it is not composited, it is taken from the camera...why is this ?

Maybe I have created slightly too much DOF, I think it needed some though, as I wanted to create more depth to it.
