  • Corporate office addition - C&C welcome

Before I hang around tomorrow night, and setup the office computers with Max 2008 and Vray 1.5, to start a netrender animation I though I'd post a still to see if anyone might have a suggestion or two.

    Thanks

    looking pretty nice to me!
    what are those trees?
the only small critic from would be the wet-looking-asphalt vs. the-rest-dry looking-scene-clear-sky, and i d try to to get some more sky into the frame and ditch all that amount of uninteresting road

      Thanks!

The trees are simple billboards using a masked VrayLightMtl.

Hrm... wet asphalt isn't exactly what I was going for; something more akin to that soft look of new pavement. Eh.. back to the material editor.

*grin* The video ends closer to the existing retaining wall, where you get a much better view of the edge of the suspended conference room and much less asphalt; although a shortened view of the building.

well if it ain t wet...id probably reduce the glossy amount and either disable the trace reflections and keep only the speculars or reduce it a bit...i don t think even fresh new asphalt to be so reflective...

then again i tend to be wrong!

          update

After getting Backburner setup again and rendering out the animation, the people in charge have decided that they'd like to show the ass end of the building as well. Heh. Anyways, here are some updated stills.
