  • Something different

...well, or at least for us it was different. This is why I thought it's worth sharing.
Usually, we do archviz for marketing purposes, so this was a fun project to work with. In a tight four days including a weekend we have worked in collaboration with an architect office on this to create illustrations and facade renderings for a competition here in Budapest. The goal was to provide something attractive, yet hard to grasp, to be able to feel the shapes and masses, but not to be distracted by the details. The final images had to rendered in less than an hour, so we had no choice, but to live with some subtle noise, please ignore that.

Crits always welcome! Hope you like it.

    Best regards,

    A.

                  Thanks guys!

Yup, the DOF is VRay, it was quicker this way than to mess with all the refractive shaders in comp.

Da_elf, naaa, those archtects need in-spi-ra-tion.

                  Best regards,

Fantastic! The architects in my office say they want these type of renderings, but they never really do. Is the red a carpaint material?
