  • Archisense-Unit animation

Thise are full frame, unmodified stills from an animation I did last year. Just a test to experiment with MB and DOF and how much time it'd take to do a wide format render (1024/576). All done in Vray RC3, mostly IM/LC. Where there were moving objects I used qmc/qmc. Preset is mostly medium, as I can remember.

    Animation (31Mb wmv):
Edit: I moved animation link to rapidshare. It should work now. Thanks for patience.

    Thanks for viewing.

The stills are fantastic. I can't wait to watch the video. Damn Websense...

BTW, how much post work did you do? And if so, what kind. Cheers

*the paintings on the room wall look too flat(slim)? and the outside environment lighting doesn t seem to match the light coming through the window imo

excellent art direction on the movie...nice timing on the shots, nice speed on the camera movement...perfect music...which brings me to the question, What is the piece of music you used?

Their entire servers bandwidth appears to have been abused.

One good tip is to get a seperate server for hosting video on, so that if it gets downloaded too much it wont take down your website aswell

Thanks to everyone for your kind words.
I'll try to answer your qestions as best as I could. This was done last year and my memmory is failing me recently, he he.

ESPACO_VIRTUAL: how did the MB and DOF affected the render times?
From the memory, it quadriple the time. Frames went fro 3'/fr to 12-15'/ fr. MB wasn't so bad actually. I was suprised with how low the MB samples can go and still get some good results. Although, my cam motion was relativelly slow and steady and that might be the reason why.

I appologize for the disapearance of file. I posted the same topic on Evermotion forum and there's been lot of hits from that side as well. I'll try tonight to move animation to a different server.
