Hi, this was with one of the RC, not 1.5sp1
This was trying out DOF, so some will like it and some won't ,I think...
    Client chose the non-DOF version...

    Thanks

probably because you have the dof backwards.

well... it is technically possible to shoot a photo like this, but a photographer would never do it. This is because the important subject matter isn't in the foreground in either instance.

Actually the top image it might be, however it makes it look like a doll house. Because the type of lens needed to do such a photo would either need to be a very long lens and not fit in the room or be a wide lens and only have that effect close up.

i agree, but in this case, the carpet, furniture, and book carts were the important subject matter of the first image. The second image was just for fun, and trying to mess around with DOF Pro and Vray's DOF (for interesting affects, not reality.)

Yeah, the doll-house look was the dof pro one when I tried it out in Photoshop. Maybe not physically correct, but I liked how it looked.
      Thanks for the c 'n c

Definitely got the doll house effect working well in the first one - good job if that was the goal

Thanks, I guess, I was just having some fun...
Here is the "non-dollhoused" one, hope it's better to some...

That was not a jab at all - the effect really worked well!

This one is good too, but I think I prefer the first one.

Thanks simmsimaging! It wasn't taken as a jab, either

              Best regards
