        thanks
        ja first one is pf, second reactor.
        i wonder though, isn't there any inter particle collision in pf?
        or do i need pf toolboxes?

          That's really nice! I like the mood of the lighting.
          Now I'm off to the kitchen to warm up my Rancilio and to grind some beans

          BTW: What did you use for the DOF? I see a few DOF errors with sharp/blurred edges coexisting, especially in the top image.

              Great to see you back posting jonas!

              With pflow you need to use the keep apart op to do some inter particle collision - it's a cheat though and also doesn't use the mesh for the collision calculation. Apparently box#2 is adding this in. Personally I'd go for thinking particles for anything to do with dynamics or fragmenting - it's got a really heavy engine so it speeds through complex dynamics. It's pricey and hard to get into though so it might be a bit hard to justify buying.

                @egz, thanks man. ja you're right, i've used frischluft lenscare for AE, where are some issues with non filtering in z-channel. but overall i'am realy happy with lenscare! good plugin.

                @stilgarna, thanks man

                @joconell, thanks mate, long time ago, ja i've used keep apart for it, but as you said. it isn't realy what i've looked for. as for thinking particles, sounds really convincing . maybe i'll give a 2nd try with it. but it itches me in my fingers to add a shot with some smoke with fumefx first.. when there's time..

                  Yes, I've noticed the same thing with Lenscare as well, I guess there's no easy way to handle this problem. But you are right, Lenscare is a good plugin, especially Out of Focus with its custom iris shapes. Too bad you can't use custom iris with Z-buffer input as well.

                        Out Of Focus applies the same amount of blur to the entire image, or layer in the case of After Effects. It is a lot faster than the Z-buffer based blur, and gives you a lot more control over how the bokeh looks because you can use a custom image to define the aperture shape. It is very good for cases when you have a back-, middle- and foreground that have been rendered separately, and you want to blur the back- and foreground.

                          ah ok i see.
                          but can't you use the Zdepht as luminanz-mask for using custom shapes then?
                          hm can't try it out here at home.

                            Beans look really nice

                            Anyone using Fusion and would have time to beta test a depth blur plugin that should do everything you want (z-depth with custom aperture) just shoot me a PM and I'll try to get you on the list. We want to make it public soon and the beta should start in the next few days. It has worked very well for my tests and on some of our projects but would be great to get some others who can give good feedback.
