thanks Peter. Do you by any chance have a bigger scene and info about file size, viewport speed and render speed. I'm doing all this manually with pflow and script, and viewport is almost standing still (about 100 000 trees and 50 000 bushes)

Also does anybody know the official status / release date of vrayscatter 2.0?

Andro, the leaf material is a vray2sidedmaterial with force single-sided sub-materials ticked and a translucency value of 139 (grey color 139,139,139)

50,000 trees

73,550,600,000 polys (tree leaves are geometry not opacity)

used max 6gb during rendering, the same without textures was about 3gb

file size 144kb

and as before, no slowdowns in max
