somethin little portrait I made to better my modelling skills.
modelled in Silo, imported into xsi and rendered with Vray
so if I´m not alowed to show it here I take it away

yes I tried it and a lot of things. didn´t feel it responded as max though. it´s a photoshop comp of several renderings and the red sss is some kind of fake..

Hehe; the next build for V-Ray for XSI already has a V-Ray SSS volume shader hooked, so this should be a lot easier.

what about silo? i've never try'd it. can it handle with millions of poly's like z-brush?
and did you try'd even the exchange with max?

Silo is good! I love it for organic modelling and I love the sculpting abilities. It´s not as high or even near ZB but is not supposed to either. and I use zb together. The conection to max; I tried it out some year ago, but I think it old now. There is a very good conecktion to xsi and maya though
