Stunning! I'd pay good money to get my hands on those pillows! They must have taken ages to model.

      Stunning work, congrats!!

Can you post some wires please? i'm curious to see the lights positions, the effect blueish/rose near the windows is simply amazing.

Thanks all of You for the nice words... ! Appreciated !

          About the light:

          1. VraySun + Sky + PhyCamera (nothing u don't know)

          2. About the left side of the image... There is a "desk - makeup" corner and a standing lamp close to it , which is ON. When I post the other cameras, you can see it.

          3. About the cover.... Geometry simulated with our lovely SimClothes (credits to Vlado again).
Material: VRayMtl (Falloffs for diffuse, reflections), 3D Displace + Bump.

          4. About the project:
It is a real hotel here in Bulgaria, which is about to be made with this interior.
For the ever-hands... it is just a fill-up detail....
the PARFUME is self - modelled (spent like 10 minutes , making it ).
All the furniture and stuff is also self-modelled as everything was taken from specific manifacturers and those models are real, U can buy them... you know .

          5. Render settings:
Nothing special really - IR + LC. Quite busted settings, because all the light is actually going
through VRay2Sided objects - curtains, lamps tissues.
Rendering on 3 PCs in DR (QuadCores 6600 , 8GB Ram ) takes like 7h per image.
Resolution : 3150 / 2250 px each frame. (this has to cover A4 print on 300 dpi)

          Best regards,

Love the curtains, could you tell a bit more about how you achieved this or can anyone point me in the direction of a good tutorial on getting natural looking folds like this?

I can never understand why people render that size for A4. That size looks perfectly fine on A1 (more or less 100dpi)
can somebody please explain that to me...
                  Kind Regards,
                  Morne

When u'r about to print on analog machines (print-mashines), you are making something
like a color-separation (CMYK) and each one goes (black/white) on something like a
photo-film. That's why it needs high density. (300 dpi) which is a MAGAZINE quality - 300 dpi.

About the curtains: SimCloth again. There is a very old thread in the Tips section, where I have
explained how you can make such curtains. Just keep in mind to have lots of subdivisions and be patient for the simulation. These curtains took like 5-6 minutes (in 300 frames) to be folded like that... That's all...

                    Best regards,

It might look fine printed on your printer, but it depends how it's done and to what level.

For A3 high spec work (£2mil+ apartments) we tend to render at 7000px across now, the difference between that and 4000 was massive. On the printer in the office you could hardly tell the difference, from a £250 fairly new inkjet. In the final brochure the difference was incredible, the print was incredibly sharp.
Not sure what printing method they used, but I know they cost a lot for the client to produce.
