Thanks for the comments. The leaves really are rubbish and is just me being lazy and relying on archmodels!

Does anyone know how to render correct volume light with vray? Ive tried to do it in post on this image but its bugging me. Ive played about with adding a seperate standard direct light with volume but it doesnt recognise my proxied trees.

Pixelab - thats like making a great sunday roast and then not bothering with the gravy and just putting a bottle or brown sauce on the table.
I used to comp in all my trees and planting but now that we've built up a solid library of proxied models i reckon it takes the same amount of time to merge in and tweak trees/plants as it would to PS them.

No one responded to your call to name the house. I actually like "The Unnamed". It sounds like an H.P. Lovecraft story.

Though you might need to make it a creepy night shot...

i think it looks like a bit of a castle or a manor so a suitably snobby name would go well.

really nice image though. It does have a bit of a fantasy feel about it as mentioned.

I can imaging the owner being a bit of an arrogant wanker who deserves to have your common man doing doughnuts on the lawn

I like the sound of that story, a bit blairwitchey.

"Both men survive and awaken later at St. Mary’s hospital. They suffer from various lacerations, including scarring from a large horn-shaped object and bruises in the shape of hoof-prints on their backs"

            - i have an ex who almost matches this description. Nasty.

As for it being a big snobby manor, yep i agree it could be owned by a big fat greasey fox hunter called something like 'Count Percival Rupert Shrubbery the 3rd' and id be the first to tear up the lawn in my imported 6litre supercharged HSV.
(thats an aussie muscle car to you lot)
