Lovely lighting and mood. Top notch.

The only problem is... showing this to a client and all they would say is "Oh... so you made a couple of boxes. So that's where our money went."

Well, that was sort of the thing... There are many clients that doesn't understand how difficult some things are in 3D. And with such realistic trees that you have, the one thing a client could complain about is that they only see boxes and didn't have any idea of how long time it took to get the trees looking that good.

I like the image. It looks very good.
The only thing that I'm sure off your client is going to mention is the burn from your outside light. I know that's how it looks in real life, but clients ALWAYS want to see what's going on outside...

The internal shot is just lovely, I'm not too keen on the plant but I love the over exposed exterior. Like DrJan says most people don't want that, but f*** them - it looks great!

How do you render such nice trees? The ones closest to the camera in this image:

How do you get them so beautifully lit, that you can actually read the blues in them, and get nice dark shadows?

And here, i see strong color bleeding from the group of leaves next to the house, but no color bleeding from the grass, are you using GI overrides?

Hey, this stuff is *bleep*ing awesome! I'm just wondering, did you "create" all the trees in onyxtree yourself, or are they from the library? And also, did you increase the detail on them?

Last question: did you use Sub surface scattering on the leaves? I'm making a similar scene, and if I can get it to look as half as good as yours, I can die happy :P

How the hell do you get the onyx trees to have so many leaves - should be easy but I find it a real task ?

                          hey !

                          thanks!

all trees I made in Onyx tree, i dont know about any collection from this program.
Leafs mapping is standart uvw maping planar with map channel 2.

But how do you mean "create them in onyxtree" ? do you change paramaters of an existing tree, or make one from scratch? Also, are your leaves just flat planes or curved surfaces?

Whoever masters the creation of trees in 3d, has mastered arch-viz all together.

very very nice...Im more impressed with the lighting and grass than the trees. I have Onyx and its pretty easy to make great looking trees, its the polys that are the killer though.

So...if you dont mind me asking, hows the grass done?
