I like your last images the best, especially the sketchy version

I think the coloured version may still be a touch on the saturated side and a bit dark, but otherwise very nicely done and your forground is great with the treestump and random scattering of things

Stylistic image

Glorybound, nice work!!
I'm glad to see some stylistic images in this section. I do try to improve that aspect of my work. A lot of architects love this alternative specially when the design is not that developed and the detail is missing.
Now(wispering), I never mentioned this before but I'm even getting some interesting results straight out of vray using dirtmaps whith hatchy textures...I may show you samples but I'm afraid I may get kicked out of this forum if I do.

lol . please do show you stylized images. I would love to see them. I posed the stylized look awhile back and it wasn't received well at all. I am glad it is now being looked at. I like them, especially if I am not getting the photreal look I am after.

Looking good Bobby, I especially like the last sketchy one, too. Is that the proposed landscape design, or just what it will look like post-construction? just curious as it looks like the landscaping has yet to happen (i.e. boulder field, stumps.)
By the way, I really like the pine boughs? all over the ground around the stump.

That landscape was what they requested.... it was the look they were after. I tried everything, but geometry was the only thing that worked.

Alright, now or never. Here we go...

I had a lot of fun playing with this in Vray. For the interiors i only added lines with finalToon. For the exteriors just made some simple transparency work with the trees in ps. All the rest just straight Vray rendering, with LightMtls & dirtmaps, no GI, no lights apart from the sun... quick stuff!

I thought I commented on these, but I see I didn't. I love these! I am seeing a lot of requests for the NPR images. I think what is fueling this requests is all the poorly done computer rendered images out there.
