  • Courtyard

Not posted any finished work for a while so here's the latest. This is one of a series of courtyard shots for a single large development. Three courtyards in all, with an evening version of this shot.

    C&C welcome as always.

Not bad. Would like to see the night shot.
Only thing I would change on this one is the sun angle, id move it so that one face is slightly more in shadow than the other.

      not bad at all.
the trees are bitmaps? they stand out a bit.
apart from that, you might want to liven it up a bit, by some glossies. also in PS you could do a lot.

@ Joost Ink - The trees are 3D, free sample from xfrog (only one I have at the moment)

@ Jonferimonic - Here is the evening shot. As this is a residential area it is not intended to promote people gathering in the courtyard at night, hence the lack of lighting

Nice. Although all your curtains are open and the same width apart.

nice job on the afternoon shot. I agree though thatthe daytime shot just looks a bit flat purely because the sun appears to be fully on both elevations equally. maybe try turn it so it isnt at 45deg, but like 30deg to one of the walls?

both shots could be really good with some more work i think
