I'm new here, so I just wanted to say 'hi!'

Models done in Modo, rendering MAX + VRay (of course) and post in Photoshop

          Great stuff.

The only thing I find distracting is the abrupt/angular changes in the grass in the last image?

It's because there are such changes. Grass area is 'made of' triangles at various angles.

Heh. If I actually read the post I would've noticed that the grass was done in Photoshop.

Heh. 3D grass is so memory / rendertime consuming, that I usualy take photoshop and some grass photos - it's much faster. Plus - it's a fun painting on wacom

Did you model the trees or used onyx or xfrog or similar products?
Can you post the settings for the tree leaf material?

                    Welcam to the forum, Artevis.

Some nice renderings you got here. Keep'em coming.

Just curious, what is the material on the sofit of the walkway on the first image? Is it some sort of backlit glass? What confuses me is the reflection, which you would not see on selfilluminated objects.

                    Regards

                    Zoran

Good stuff. Are those water fountains in the centre of image 1? Look a bit cut and pasted to me. Image 2 is nice but there is no connection between the people and ground, they appear to float. Image 3 is my fav, detail on the glazing is very good.

About fountains - they are 'cut & paste' First two images are from another project than third. On those, there were short deadline.
On third image, I have whole week
