render problems

hello,
i'm having problems with this scene. when i render it on my local machine it renders fine. when i send it out for network rendering it gets some odd looking shadows on the plane and on the ground near the plane. any ideas?

usually something like this is a result of one machine not seeing a texture, however i dont see any bucket sized errors so... weird.

how are you computing your gi?
does the problem still exists if you have gi turned off? if no, then you are probably not setting up your gi maps correctly.
