  • Bathroom Image with dof and other tricks

A bathroom image for new building product.

This one I did for fun, but the other views can be seen at the link below. I ended up animating between the views including the close ups, and then rendered out each colour combination to make up the 100s of images you see there.

I was thinking you could have done the color changes in Photoshop but then the bounce light from the different colors wouldn't be there. Sounds like a lot of renderings. Looks good, well done.

I like the way you showed the details.

Is this all build in Flash for the web ?

Thanks for everone's positive feedback! It was a bit tricky, but luckily we had some really talented flash guys in our team.

              Basically all flash and xml.

There may be some lag for those of you on the other side of the world, as the site is hosted in NZ.

              Keep it coming!

its a shame that the "change view" animation is always the same. Changing the view with your selected colour would have been much nicer.

This would have been a lot of rendering!! We were unfortunately given a tight time frame to complete the project!

Al did a fantastic job with the time he had to create this!

                      Excellent work
                      just saw this

just in case you get another project that requires hundreds of different colour options

                      wish vray could do this

yeah well in the time it takes to setup a "swap" session you could have rendered 1000vray frames.

                          great job.

in the first image of tap and sink (not your link) there is a really cool effect on the image, like gentle reds and blue not focus and its given a very realistic feeling.
can you share with us the process ?
                          thanks man.

btw this sink cost 100 euro.

A program called Adobe Lightroom can do this.
