Studio setup

I`ve attached some of my experiments with studio setup in Vray.


95%- Vray
5% - AE (only for minimal color corrections and text)

Please tell me what do you think?

the ligthing looks pretty good. But I don't like the background, it hurts my eyes.

To be honest, it looks kinda flat.
I you crop the image in the middle of the kettle you can't really see it's a round surface if you know what I mean.
I think a decent hdri would solve this "problem".

Overall this is a very nice and clean image.

I agree. It's a decent base for a studio setup, but now you need to add some blacks and some highlights etc to add depth. You might also want to neutralize the colour more if you want this to be a general lighting rig.
