  • Animal Shelter - environment exercise

Here's one I just finished. As you can see, the architecture is very basic, so I needed to focus a lot on the environment, trees, colors, etc. Almost all of it is 3d, with a little 2d mixed in to fill it up. This was a good exercise for me in Onyx, still learning how to work it. Comments welcome.

Thanks guys! I noticed the image seems to get sharpened a lot when you upload to the Chaos forum.

I like it - nice image. I think the person looks a wee bit rigid maybe?

                  Hey Tim,
Great work, as always. Really digging the foliage!!! Makes me think I need to revisit Onyx. We haven't used it much since we use Charley's trees most of the time. I really like the mood though.... totally takes me back east.

Nice work Tim. Like John said, foliage looks great.
Onyx is a great program once you get the hang of it.

Thanks guys. Onyx is tricky indeed, but sometimes there is no substitute for the quality you can get out of it. I am just hoping some upgrades to the current version is in the works.
